Lexová, Dagmar ; Hejlová, Helena (advisor) ; Poche Kargerová, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with the class atmosphere in the 4th year of primary school. The topic is the transformation of a negative class atmosphere into a positive one. The aim was to find methods and forms of working with the class to improve the atmosphere in the class. In the theoretical part of the thesis we deal with the topics of a school class, the atmosphere in the school and in the class, indiscipline in the class, and the teacher's care for the atmosphere in the class, which is related to the addressed problem in the class. The practical part of the thesis is action teaching research. The aim of the action teaching research was to assess the specifics of the 4th year in terms of nurturing the classroom atmosphere, particularly when a negative class atmosphere arises. Through active teaching research, which included observations by the teacher, consultations with experts, and diagnostics of the class using a questionnaire titled "Our Class", the problem in the specific class was resolved and the objective of the thesis was fulfilled. Specific methods leading to an improvement of the situation in the class are described in the practical part. I believe that these methods are generally applicable and can be used in practice by other teachers, and not only those who are starting their career.
